The Robot that will Teach us about Human Curiosity
The Curiosity Lab in Tel-Aviv University wants to make robots behave like curious babies that explore their environment, in the hope of gaining new insights into human behavior and new ways how to implement it in robots of the future.

Our ubiquitous fascination with robots stem many times not by fantasies of a more advanced technological future, but rather the polarity with which we have been accustomed to this of them: on the one hand as advanced war machines that want to take over the Earth, and on the other hand as real partners to the human race. From these mixed imaginary possibilities, there are already several use cases and learning process that are done with robotic technology. For example, the Curiosity Lab in Tel-Aviv University has received a new member: Baxter, the first social industrial robot. The Curiosity Lab intends to use it in order to further our understanding into human curiosity.
