CV

Dr. Meital Geva earned her direct track Ph.D. at the Mechanical Engineering Department at Ben-Gurion University. She obtained 20 distinguished awards in the course of her academic studies. Upon graduation, she gained industrial experience at a government research center as a thermo-hydraulic researcher. Afterward, she was a postdoctoral research associate at the Water Wave Laboratory at the School of Mechanical Engineering at Tel-Aviv University.

Research

Wind-wave interactions, Shear flow instability, Turbulent boundary layers over rough wavy water surfaces, Internal waves, Shock wave reflections, Reactive compressible flow.

Her research aims to better understand the physics of various processes through theoretical and numerical analysis supported by experimental data.
