The Seidman Family Memorial Lecture Series
Thanks to the generosity of the Seidman family, the Department of Materials Science and Engineering (DMS&E) at TAU has launched The Seidman Family Memorial Lecture Series in memory of Elie and Jeanne Cohen-Sabban, z”l, Marseille, France, and Charles and Jeanette Seidman, z”l, New York City, New York. The specific purpose of this annual lecture series is to help to increase the international visibility of the DMS&E and to help it fostering very strong long-term relationships between the invited lecturer and his/her university or research institute and the professors of the DMS&E. All invitees are materials scientists/engineers with an outstanding international scientific and/or engineering reputation. The invitees should spend three days at TAU in the DMS&E, which include two Seidman lectures, personal interaction with the professors, lecturers and students in the DMS&E, and meetings with the management of TAU. To-date, the following distinguished invitees have visited us: | |
