How to build an effective organizational awareness of Phishing attacks?

Abstract:
Products around us have changed the way we consume news, treat our health, navigate to destinations, socialize with our community, manage our finances, and much more. Product Managers determine product roadmap according to measurements they define, conduct user research and decide on which functionality gets built. To do that, they need to balance development efforts, user experience (occasionally there are multiple types of users that affect each other), short-term revenue for shareholders, long term revenue for investors, and compliance with regulation. While their work is central to the way digital affects users and society, there is very little knowledge about the way social values play a part in their work. This research seeks to analyze product managers’ decision-making processes while identifying patterns in practices concerning social and ethical dilemmas in product development. Based on semi-structured interviews (n=20) and an online survey with product managers (n=120), we identified factors and considerations that took part in career choices and personal development from an ethical point of view. We have identified potential stakeholders of products they lead, what is their approach towards the end user wellbeing and how they influence product roadmaps.
