New institute for Electromagnetic Technologies to be established in the Faculty of Engineering!

Exciting news from the Faculty of Engineering! Several months ago, a group of researchers from the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering (ECE), was awarded a grant for institutional research equipment from the Planning and Budgeting Committee (PBC). The grant was awarded to support the establishment of the National Electromagnetic and Wireless Advanced Research Center (NEW-ARC).

Building on this achievement, Tel Aviv University recently approved the establishment of an Institute for Electromagnetic Technologies within the Faculty of Engineering.

This is a significant achievement that further strengthens the Faculty’s position at the forefront of electromagnetic and wireless technology research, while opening up new opportunities for research, innovation, and collaboration.

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Noam Eliaz, said:
“Thank you to the members of the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering, led by the Head of the School, Prof. Eran Socher, and Prof. Pavel Ginzburg, who worked tirelessly to prepare the winning research proposal, with the guidance of the Vice Dean for Research and Industry Relations, Prof. Slava Krylov, and the Faculty IAP Head, Prof. Yael Hanein. This is an important achievement for the School of Electrical & Computer Engineering and for the entire Faculty of Engineering!”
