Research Fields

  •         Composite materials (emphasizing Carbon Nanotubes (CNT)/ Polymer composites), including studying their mechanical and electrical properties.

  •         Studying the correlation between micro- and nanostructure of said materials and their interfacial characteristics to the mechanisms controlling their behavior as structural materials and materials in energy-systems.

  •         Developing methods to mechanical testing in situ inside SEM and TEM of said materials, including nano-scale 3D morphology characterisations.
