Yair Shokef completed his B.Sc. in Mathematics and Physics at the Hebrew University, M.Sc. in Physics at Ben Gurion University, and Ph.D. in Physics at the Technion. During the years 2006-2008 he was a postdoctoral fellow at the Department of Physics and Astronomy of the University of Pennsylvania, and during the years 2008-2011 at the Departments of Physics of Complex Systems and of Materials and Interfaces at the Weizmann Institute of Science. In 2011 he joined the senior academic staff of the School of Mechanical Engineering in Tel Aviv University.
